Explore Selena's Legacy with the McNay
This virtual conversation tells the story of Selena's music, image and celebrity.
The McNay in San Antonio has a great photo exhibition, “Selena Forever/Selena Siempre” featuring images of Tejano legend Selena, taken by San Antonio photographer John Dyer.
In conjunction with this exhibition, the museum is hosting a virtual conversation with “Anything for Selena” podcast host and journalist Maria Garcia. The conversation also features insights from McNay head of education Kate Carey, and will examine Selena’s impact and legacy through the lens of Latina and bi-cultural identities.
Virtual Conversation: Selena, Identity, and Belonging is at 6 pm, June 23 via Zoom. This is a free event. Click here to register.
